--------------------------------------------------------
There was a rattling of chains as a small, blue-grey form rose from beneath the ground, moving as if he had merely been walking straight ahead the whole time. He paused for a moment before seating himself beside the Queen. "Hello Cleo. I'm sure you don't know me...I died before you got here. Before even Aakesh's time. I've been watching this pride, and all that live in the surrounding area." He spoke in a monotone, staring off into the distance. If he hadn't adressesd the Queen specifically, it would have been hard to distinguish which of the gathered lions that he was talking to. He closed his bright blue, glowing eyes before turning them and his mournful gaze upon the lioness. "It's important that you let me stay here while you raise your cubs...the boy will need my help."

Cleo jumped slightly as the new male came up beside her, and she turned to face him. A look of confusion sprouted onto her maw for a few seconds, then vanished to be replaced with curiosity. Who was this new lion? And how had he came up from the ground? And, more importantly, how did she know she was going to have a boy? She wasn’t but a week or so into her pregnancy and she hadn’t really even begun to show it. How could this new lion know that she was pregnant and she would have a boy cub?
‘Who are you?” she asked. She would get the to many other questions later. She sat down again, though she felt uneasy about the new male. "And.. How do you know my name, and Aakesh's?"

"That's not important..." He murmured, at the mention of his name. "Didn't I just tell you? I've been watching over this land for quite some time. I watched Aakesh and sister grow up, you arrive here, Nasiche..." He hung his head sadly. He had tried to stop her, keep her from suffering such a dreadful fate as his...But she hadn't listened. "Anyway, I've been watching everything for quite some time. Most don't notice me, though I have made my self visable to others...like I have to you."

Cleo gave another curious look to the new male, her mind wheeling.
“Nasiche?” she said softly, her eyes finding their way far over to where the lands of the Banished were, then back to Hiro beside her. “How did you know I was awaiting cubs, though? And how do you know I’ll have a boy?” she asked, a mixture of uncertainty, slight fear of what and who this new male was, and curiosity of how he knew so much.

"I just know...I guess...But, back to the boy, it is EXTREMELY important that I become his mentor...he won't survive without me. He'll need my help...and another's. The main thing is that I stay here until their birth is closer. Or else his sister will be without a play mate..."
The form of Aakesh came flying toards them, blending almost entirely with the bright blue sky. He alighted not far from them, galloping slightly to slow himself to a stop. His eyes widened at the ghostly form beside his mate. "Y-you..." he breathed, a chill running down his spine. "Murderer!" The adolecent looked up into the king's eyes, for once having fear in his own. "I-I d-ddin't m-m-m-mean..to...I-I-" Aakesh roared, leaping at him, only to pass right through.

Cleo jumped at her mate’s roar, and turned to see him jump through the male she had been talking to. A scared look filled her eyes as she looked to Hiro, and then back to her mate.
“Aakesh! What are you doing? What is the matter?” She asked, looking between the two, and then jumping in between them. Confusion and fear filled her eyes as she turned to look at Aakesh. “What did he do?” she asked, half scared if he would turn his anger onto her.

"He's the one that...killed my grandfather...they both fell off of a cliff...because of him! My father told us about him. How he watched him tackle my grandfather and how they tumbled down the cliff..." The king was shaking as he spoke, the rage and hatred that his father had taught them to feel towards the adolecent boiling. "N-no, it was-wasn't like that...i-it w-was an an accident...i-it was-" Aakesh snarled again, scaring the frightened male. "He's nothing but a curse...We've got to get rid of him before he causes more trouble..."

Cleo stood, her eyes filled with sadness for her mate, though at the same time, merely looking at this new lion main her realized he wasn’t all too evil. Her eyes showed her confusion.
“I understand you sorrow, Aakesh, but what can he do now? He is but a ghost, you saw when you jumped through him. He can do nothing to us. Why not let us wait, if only for a small time,” Cleo said, looking over to Hiro, and then back to Aakesh. “I feel he might be useful in a later time.” She whispered to her mate. Something about Hiro made her think that. What it was he would be a help for, she didn’t know, but until she did, she didn’t want him disappearing anytime soon.

The older male grunted, the look of hatred in his eyes lessening at the plea of his mate. "I'll leave him be, but he cannot stay in our dens! After that treachery...who knows what he could do." Hiro nodded sadly, eyes wandering to the top of the pride's stone home. "I've been here longer than you know...but not in the dens, no. You needn't worry about that. Besides, I've an errand to run. You won't see me again until they're ready to come." he jerked his head softly towards cleo at the last statement, meaning her cubs. Without another word, he backed up slowly. As he retreated, the chains pulled him back into the ground from whence he came.
"This worries me, love. What errand could he have to run? And what does he want with the cubs?" He nuzzled her affectionately, though the worry never left his face. He'd die before that menace cursed his cubs...No, he would not stand for that.

Cleo nodded and nuzzled Aakesh back, though her eyes never left the spot where Hiro had disappeared. What exactly did he mean by errand? When he said it, he didn’t exactly look too fond of it. The fact she knew nothing about this worried her more and more. The only thing she could do now would be to try and forget it..
..Or.. If she went to sleep now, even though the sun was high in the sky, if she went to sleep, maybe a vision would come.. Explaining more of what Hiro had said..
“My love, I’m going to go to sleep, to see if thing surface to better explain this all.” She said, turning and walking slightly into the dens, then glancing back, making sure Aakesh understood she was waiting for a vision.
She then continued into the den, going back into the far corner to where it was still dark. Hopefully she would get a vision. Though if she didn’t, all they could do would be to wait. And hope for the best..
